Detailed consenting roadmap for statutory and stakeholder engagement with indicative timelines. Advice for approach to Development Consent and planning including possible technical challenges to application of REPPIR 2019 and DEPZ.
Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
Principal lead on behalf of HBBC, coordinate and project manage the joint technical review of the Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange DCO. Planning and Stakeholder lead and principal point of contact with DCO Promoter Tritax Symmetry. This role also included the management of major projects caseload / the most complex requests for application advice and applications, strong analytical, advisory and influencing/negotiation, secure good design and the best mitigation for the Borough Council.
Environment Agency NEC4 Professional Services Contract – River Thames Flood Alleviation Scheme.
Specialist strategic adviser to the Environment Agency on the use of a Development Consent Order (DCO) as the mechanism for seeking consenting for their River Thames Scheme. High level adviser support on the DCO process, programme, the risks, constraints and global resources requirements in support of a Agency Business Case (Green Book) to DEFRA/Treasury.
Gatwick DCO Coordinator
On behalf of the ten Gatwick local authorities, coordinate and project manage the joint technical work arising from the Topic Working Groups (TWG) and associated officer groups set up to inform and manage the development of Gatwick Airport Limited’s Northern Runway project (NRP). Planning and Stakeholder lead as the principal point of contact with Gatwick Airport Limited (GAL) on the NRP and enable the local authorities to fulfil their responsibilities under the Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) with GAL.
